Jamie has a Bachelor of Commerce from Saint Mary’s University and brings over 20 years of experience in the construction industry. Since joining The Shaw Group in 2014, he has focused on building high-performing teams, enhancing the customer experience, and driving innovation. Known for his collaborative leadership and forward-thinking approach, Jamie is always looking for new ways to improve processes and deliver exceptional results. His dedication ensures that goals are met with care, and his adaptability helps the team succeed. Outside of work, Jamie enjoys spending time with his family, especially his two granddaughters.

Chris has a diploma in carpentry from Nova Scotia Community College and began his career with Rooftight in 2001. His passion for building homes and goal driven attitude propelled him to Project Manager shortly thereafter. He has a strong eye for detail and has earned the respect of our tradespeople through his management style. He holds numerous industry certifications and values staying current on new building techniques through continuing education. Chris was promoted to Vice President in June 2024 and looks forward to the continued growth of Rooftight for years to come. On his days off, Chris can be found following his son and daughter around USport football fields, volleyball courts and spending time with family and friends.

Rosemary became an integral part of Rooftight immediately upon joining the team in early2016. Her extensive experience in management and customer service coupled with her unmatched organizational and communication skills proved to be just what we needed! Her role quickly evolved into business & plan development, estimating and cultivating close relationships with trade and supplier partners. She was also an essential part of developing many of the programs that have been introduced over the years. Rosemary was promoted to Operations Manager in 2024 and has a crystal-clear vision for the future of Rooftight and our community impact. Rosemary is passionate about her down time spent with friends, family and, one of her biggest passions, her dog, Freyja.

Mike has had a love of finish carpentry from a very young age. He started from the very beginning and, over the next 26 years, grew in skill and experience to be one of the most respected finish carpenters in Halifax, and the leader of Rooftight’s premier finish carpentry team. So, when Rooftight was looking to add a new Service Coordinator in early 2022, Mike was the clear choice and has excelled in this area to include the role of Project Manager. Mike truly believes in creating enduring relationships with our homeowners, and  building outstanding homes by constantly asking himself, “would this be acceptable in my own home? ” 

Kris has been working in the carpentry field since his graduation from NSCC in 1995. He previously worked on many Rooftight homes as part of our finish carpentry team so when it came time to expand our Service Department in the Fall of 2020, Kris was a perfect fit. His excitement is contagious and his kind, friendly service helps our families enjoy their new home worry-free. Kris transitioned to the role of Project Manager in early 2022 and has truly been an asset to our Project Management team.

Sheldon has been a part of the construction industry for almost 20 years.  His wealth of knowledge comes from a wide range of positions in both commercial and residential construction.  His true passion however, is his love for building exceptional homes where families can create lasting memories together.

This includes providing leading edge service to our Rooftight families! As our newest Service Manager, Sheldon has truly excelled in this role and has taken our program to the next level.  He always ensures our community members are well taken care of with the utmost care and respect. 

When he is not giving his all to our homeowners, Sheldon is a busy husband and father and frequently enjoys game nights with close friends.

Jennifer was first introduced to Rooftight homeowners in 2020, learning the Rooftight design process and how the world of residential construction differed from her commercial and multifamily construction background.  Her experience in project administration and customer service married well with her love of all things interior design and organization. 

Pair those two things together and you get a Project Manager who can help homeowners navigate the selections process with confidence and ease. Jennifer moved into her permanent role as Project Manager, Design in 2024.
